The variety was bred using the doubled haploid system by crossing Overture and RGT Campanera lines. The plant reaches a height of about 73 cm, has an ear of medium density in a semi-erect to horizontal position.
The variety is characterized by good resistance to lodging and ear loss. The level of disease resistance on a 1–9 scale is 9 for powdery mildew, 5 for brown rust, and 4 for rhynchosporium.
The grain is distinguished by high specific weight, low screening levels, and the absence of glycosidic nitriles, making the variety suitable for whisky and beer production. Additionally, the barley can be used as a fodder crop.
