The barley variety SW Wikingett (Hordeum vulgare L.) belongs to two-row barleys. Grain yield of the variety is at the level of standards.

The plant possesses resistance to powdery mildew and weak susceptibility to leaf blotch. The variety shows strong susceptibility to barley leaf rust (Puccinia hordei) and cereal cyst nematode race 1 and 2.

A weak tendency to lodging and stem breakage is observed. Also, a very weak or weak tendency to ear breakage during over-ripening is noted.
