The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group and has an average plant height. It is characterized by good lodging resistance and high stem stability. The grain of the variety has a high bulk density and thousand kernel weight.
The plant possesses genetic resistance to Barley yellow mosaic virus (BaYMV-1 and BaMMV) and Barley yellow dwarf virus. The variety shows low susceptibility to scald (Rhynchosporium secalis), and moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew, net blotch, Ramularia leaf spot, and leaf rust (dwarf rust).
The hybrid is adapted for cultivation on light soils and in drought-prone regions, and responds well to organic fertilizers. It is used as a fodder crop and as a raw material for biogas production.
