The variety is a historically significant representative of German malting barley. In the period after 1951, it became a key achievement for the originating company and was widely used as a parent form in breeding new selection lines, including the Volla variety.
The variety possesses pronounced disease resistance, which at the time of its creation was considered a significant indicator for malting crops. Currently, the variety is not grown on an industrial scale and is considered primarily as an object for genetic research and historical breeding material.
