The spring barley variety «Xanadu» is mid-season; its vegetation period duration is 84–92 days. The thousand kernel weight varies from 44 to 51 grams. The variety is primarily intended for brewing and is valued for stable grain quality indicators.
The plant possesses high resistance to covered smut and powdery mildew, while high susceptibility to helminthosporiosis is noted. The variety is distinguished by ecological plasticity and yield stability, and is also widely used in breeding programs as a parental form.
