The spring barley variety «Zvershennia» is used in scientific breeding work. In particular, it served as one of the parent components in the development of new barley varieties and was used in studies of grain technological properties for the production of grits.
In scientific publications, the variety appears as an object of study for the genetics of resistance to powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei), as well as a control or study sample in comparative trials evaluating productivity and yield structural elements.
