HUTWOW, known under the commercial name Elektra Blue, is a shrub with a height and width of about 1.2–1.5 m. The plant is characterized by quality branching and elegant foliage, which differs from the parental forms by the absence of pronounced serration along the edges.
The flowers of the variety are large, more open compared to Alyogyne hakeifolia. The plant is capable of continuous flowering in mild climates or when grown in pots indoors. The variety is intended for USDA hardiness zones 9–11.
