The evergreen shrub reaches a height of about 2 meters with a width of 1.5 meters. The leaves are thin and needle-like. The plant prefers full sun and well-drained sandy soils, tolerates light frosts, and possesses drought tolerance once established.

The flowers are waxy, funnel-shaped, and of a rich purple-pink color with a reddish-brown center; the buds have a glossy red hue. The variety is characterized by a late flowering period from late winter to spring.

The plant is used in gardening and commercial floriculture for cut flower production. Stems 60–70 cm long have a stable productivity ranging from 70 to 100 stems in the third year of growth and beyond.
