The Xiezuo variety, also known under the brand name 1001 Summer Nights® Sinbad, is an interspecific hybrid developed from Camellia azalea. The plant has a dense and compact growth habit, reaching a height of approximately 150 cm and a width of 120 cm after 10 years.
The flowers of the variety are large, semi-double, and colored in red-pink tones. The leaves are dark green and glossy. The flowering period of the plant is extended and continues from summer until late winter. The variety is intended for landscape use and container cultivation.
