Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant forms dense compact mounds 15–20 cm in height and 35–40 cm in width. The leaves are succulent, obovate or rhombic in shape with a serrated margin, and have a characteristic silvery-blue-green hue.

Flowering occurs from late summer to autumn. Small star-shaped flowers are gathered in dense corymbose inflorescences of a rich pink-purple color. The stems are strong and do not lodge.

The variety is winter hardy (USDA zone 3) and drought tolerant. It is used as a groundcover plant, is suitable for landscaping rock gardens, alpine gardens, borders, and for cultivation in containers.
