The plant has an upright habit and reaches a height of 35 to 70 cm. The foliage is dark green; the flowers are large, coral-orange in shade, including the calyx and pedicel. The variety is characterized by strong stems and hardiness.
The flowering period is long, lasting from late spring or summer until autumn. Depending on climatic conditions, it can be grown as an annual or perennial plant. Used for planting in containers, flower beds, and patios; it attracts pollinating insects and hummingbirds.
