Variety description

The plant forms an upright or rounded shrub 1.8–2.4 m in height and 2.4–3 m in width. Leaves have a characteristic coloration: olive-green on top and violet-purple on the bottom. Flowers are gathered in violet-purple panicle inflorescences up to 20 cm in length.
Flowering occurs from mid-summer to autumn with repeat blooming. The variety is suitable for cultivation in USDA hardiness zones 7–9, possesses resistance to heat, drought, urban pollution, and salt tolerance. The shrub attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, and is used in landscape design.
