The variety is classified as an interspecific hybrid. Morphological traits include the presence of long, dense hairs on the peduncle, an open leaf base, and a pronounced waviness of its margin.

Flowers on the middle third of the pedicel have a medium-red color. The plant has an upright habit. The commercial name of the variety is Calliope Rose.
