The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing in 2016. In documentation, it is classified as Pelargonium ×hortorum × P. peltatum or Pelargonium ×hortorum × P. tongaense. In retail, it may be found under the names Pink Passion or Sunrise.

The plant has an upright, sometimes semi-trailing growth habit. The leaf blades are dark green, and the zoning is weak to moderate. The peduncles are of short or medium length; the inflorescences consist of semi-double flowers with a red-pink or bright red-purple hue.

The variety is intended for cultivation as an ornamental garden or container plant.
