The variety is a subshrub, typical for the species Hypericum androsaemum. The plant can be semi-evergreen or deciduous, its height varies from 30 to 100 cm, sometimes reaching 1.5 m.

The main ornamental feature is the spectacular fruit capsules, which persist on the branches for a long time. The variety is intended for landscape design and the professional floral business as a source of berries for cutting.
