The variety is included in the official testing protocols of the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) and belongs to a group of Hypericum species, including Hypericum androsaemum, Hypericum hircinum, and Hypericum × inodorum.
The plant is intended for ornamental use, with decorative fruits being its main value. In CPVO documentation, the variety underwent Distinctness, Uniformity, and Stability (DUS) testing, during which morphological characteristics, such as the cross-section shape of the leaf, were described.
