Variety description

The variety is a breeding form of the species Hypericum calycinum. The plant reaches a height of 20–30 cm, with a spread of 30–90 cm. The leaves are lemon-green with cream or yellow edges, and young shoots may acquire a pinkish hue.
Flowering occurs in summer with large bright yellow flowers 5–10 cm in diameter. The variety is used as an ornamental groundcover, suitable for border decoration, slope stabilization, and container gardening.
The plant is drought-tolerant after rooting and adapts to various soil types, with well-drained soils preferred. It belongs to hardiness zones 5–9. It may be susceptible to rust.
