Variety description

The variety is a dense, upright shrub 70–80 cm high and 60–75 cm wide. The foliage is dark green and glossy. The plant is characterized as deciduous, sometimes described as semi-evergreen.
Flowering occurs from late spring to mid-summer with bright yellow cup-shaped flowers with prominent stamens. After flowering, decorative red berries form, remaining on the shrub from late summer until autumn or winter.
The plant is drought-tolerant and heat-resistant after establishment, and tolerates lighting from full sun to deep shade. The variety is intended for use in borders, mixed borders, container and mass plantings.
