The Duepetauber variety belongs to the Petticoat group and is a vegetatively propagated hybrid of New Guinea impatiens. Like other members of this group, the plant is distinguished by a compact habit, good branching and the ability to bloom continuously.
The plant possesses a stronger stem and fleshy leaves compared to Impatiens walleriana. The variety is thermophilic, sensitive to temperatures below +10°C, and requires well-drained, organic-rich soils, as well as consistent watering. It is intended for decorating flower beds, hanging baskets and container compositions.
