The variety belongs to low-growing plants. It is characterized by a weak degree of anthocyanin coloration on the upper side of the leaf petiole in comparison with other varieties.
In official documentation, the variety Kijos is used as a reference sample when conducting comparative characteristics of breeding traits of New Guinea impatiens. Plants of this variety develop to smaller sizes than the variety Kiquilla.
