The Salsa Red variety is a double-flowered impatiens with flowers 3.5–5 cm in diameter, resembling peonies or small roses in shape. The plant forms a dense, well-branching bush 20–35 cm high with dark green oval-shaped foliage.

The plant is a vegetatively propagated hybrid, does not require pinching to form a lush crown, and self-cleans from wilted flowers. It prefers semi-shaded or shaded areas, fertile soil, and regular watering.

The variety is intended for cultivation in containers, hanging baskets, balcony boxes, flower beds, and borders. It can also be used as a houseplant for year-round cultivation.
