The variety possesses variegated foliage: the central part of the leaf is green, and the edges have a coloration ranging from greenish-white to white. In mid-summer, individual fully golden leaves may appear on the plant. The flowers have a bright scarlet color.

The plant is easily propagated by stem cuttings. In terms of vigor, the variety is similar to other vegetatively propagated non-variegated Impatiens walleriana varieties, as well as to varieties grown from seeds. It is used as an ornamental crop for open field and containers.
