The Kitim variety, also known under the commercial name Timor, belongs to the group of New Guinea impatiens or hybrids of the Paradise series. The plant is characterized by bright orange flowers and in professional practice is often used as a standard when evaluating new orange-flowered varieties.
This impatiens is intended for cultivation in flower beds and on balconies. Propagation of the variety is carried out exclusively by vegetative means — through cuttings.
