Variety description

The flowers of the variety have a pink-violet or white-pink color with a bright pink or dark violet central vein on each of the six petals. The plant forms narrow strap-shaped leaves of dark green color, which emit a characteristic aroma when rubbed.
Flowering occurs in spring, after which the plant enters a dormant state and the foliage dies off by early summer. The variety prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils. In temperate climates, it often requires protection or cultivation as a container crop.
The plant is used for decorative purposes for planting in rock gardens, borders, mixed borders, as well as for container cultivation.
