The Dutch bulbous iris Osaka is a mutant of the variety Hong Kong. The plant is characterized by a dark violet petal color (code 79C according to classification) and is intended for cultivation in the open field or for cut flowers.
The Tall Bearded iris variety Osaka reaches a height of 107 cm. The flowering period is early or mid-season. The upper petals (standards) are white with a cream shade, the lower petals (falls) are dark burgundy with a violet wash, and the beard is yellow.
