Variety description

The plant is a perennial with a woody base, having small elliptical serrated leaves of medium or dark green color. In climates with frosts, it is grown as an annual crop.

Flowering lasts from late spring to autumn. The variety prefers sunny areas with moderately fertile, moist, and well-drained soils. Plant sap may cause irritation upon contact with skin.
