Frojas (trade name Fiona Sunrise) is a vigorously growing vine whose shoots are capable of reaching from 3 to 12 meters in length. The main distinctive feature of the variety is the bright golden-yellow coloration of the foliage, which persists throughout the summer period.
The plant blooms from early summer to autumn, forming white star-shaped flowers with an intense aroma. The variety is intended for vertical landscaping of pergolas, arches, walls, or for cultivation in containers.
The frost resistance of the plant is in the range from -10°C to -15°C (USDA zones 7–10). Under protected cultivation conditions or when grown as a houseplant, infestation by mealybugs, scale insects, and whiteflies is possible.
