The variety is a hybrid of the species Juglans major and Juglans regia. Its primary purpose is the production of high-quality timber, for which breeding was focused on vigorous tree growth and development.
Unlike fruit varieties, this hybrid may have reduced or absent fruit production to redirect energy toward trunk development. Characterized by a very early start of male flowering.
The plant possesses increased vigor, disease resistance, and better adaptation to climatic stresses, such as drought or spring frosts, compared to pure Juglans regia species.
