The shrub has a narrow columnar shape with vertical branches tightly pressed to the trunk. A mature plant reaches about 2.5 meters in height with a diameter of no more than 20 cm. The annual growth rate is 5–10 cm.
The needles are short, prickly, green in color, sometimes with a glaucous shade, turning dark green in winter. The plant is light-loving, grows well on various soils, is undemanding to moisture and tolerates winter conditions, however, it requires protection from dry winter winds.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
