The plant is a dwarf cultivar with a height of about 11 cm and a bush width of up to 24 cm. The leaves are narrow-linear, almost thread-like, green in color, with a characteristic wide cream-colored margin along the edge.

The cultivar has a hardiness zone of 6. Like the species in general, it prefers sunny locations and well-drained, sandy, sufficiently poor soils, and is a drought-tolerant plant.
