The variety is a leaf lettuce with dense leaves that have pronounced ruffling and fine cutting. The plant is characterized by a slower growth rate than the Maverick variety, which allows for successful cultivation under high-temperature conditions. The variety has excellent keeping quality after harvest.

The plant has high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races 29–40 EU and intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fol) races 1, 4.
