The variety belongs to the Batavia group, serving as an intermediate type between butterhead lettuce and iceberg. The leaves are characterized by distinct crispness and a smaller number of large central veins compared to classic butterhead lettuce.

The plant is medium-sized, has an open rosette type, and red-green coloration. The variety is characterized by good tolerance to hot conditions and shows resistance to powdery mildew when grown in the autumn period.
