The Rumours F1 hybrid belongs to the Iceberg type. The vegetation period is 45–60 days. The plant forms a semi-erect rosette about 25 cm high and up to 20 cm in diameter, and has a strong root system.
The heads are dense, closed, flat-round in shape, and reach a weight of 350–900 g. The leaves are dark green, blistered, with a wavy edge, and have a crispy and juicy texture.
The variety is resistant to bolting, downy mildew (races Bl:16-32EU), currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0), and lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1). It is intended for cultivation in the open field during the spring-autumn period and for fresh consumption.
