The variety forms a compact spherical rosette 20–25 cm in height. The leaves are strongly wavy, colored red-brown, burgundy, or deep red. The taste of the leaves is delicate, without bitterness.

The period from emergence to technical maturity varies from 35–45 to 60 days depending on the seed producer. The variety possesses good field resistance and is intended for fresh consumption.

The plant can be grown in open field, film greenhouses, hotbeds, and also under home conditions on a windowsill.
