The variety forms an open, medium-sized rosette. The leaves are distinguished by an intense "triple red" coloration. The plant is characterized by slow bolting, which allows it to be grown throughout the year.

The plant possesses high resistance to tip burn. It has high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae races 29–33EU) and currant-lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri race 0), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV race 1).
