The variety belongs to the Batavia type and forms lanceolate leaves with a deep cherry-red color. The plant is characterized by high size uniformity and an upright growth habit, which facilitates mechanical harvesting.
The lettuce is intended for the fresh market and for processing in salad mixes. The flexible leaf structure allows it to maintain its marketability during packaging. The crop is recommended for cultivation in the open field.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (races Bl: 29–41EU), lettuce aphid (Nr: 0), Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV), and Fusarium wilt (Fol: 1). Intermediate resistance (IR) to race Fol: 4 is also noted.
