The Araro variety belongs to the oak leaf type (feuille de chêne) and has a rounded, well-balanced plant shape. It is an early-maturing crop with a short growth cycle, suitable for maintaining a continuous harvest schedule.

The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:29-41EU) and currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0), as well as intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fol:4). The variety demonstrates resistance to internal leaf necrosis.

The variety is intended for cultivation in protected ground. Recommended planting times fall in late autumn and spring; winter cultivation is possible in warm zones. Seeds are available in organic form.
