The variety belongs to the oak leaf lettuce type and forms a rosette of a large number of densely arranged light green leaves. The leaves have an upright shape, a textured surface with a sheen and a crisp structure, which makes the plant convenient for processing after the removal of the core.
The plant possesses high resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV) and a number of races of downy mildew (Bremia lactucae BI 1–11, 13, 15, 17). The variety is suitable for cultivation in protected ground, where sensitivity to the spectral composition of light can be used to alter the content of phytochemical compounds in the leaves.
