The Frisée de Beauregard variety, also known as Ice Queen, is a head lettuce. The plant forms medium-sized heads with curly leaves, which can be consumed both at a young age and after the head has fully formed.
The leaves of the variety have a sweet taste and a crispy, juicy texture. The variety demonstrates good cold tolerance, as well as resistance to hot weather conditions, under which it maintains its properties for a long time and does not bolt.
