The variety was obtained by controlled pollination using the parental pair Elenas and a breeding line with resistance to downy mildew. The main breeding objectives were the multi-leaf trait, resistance to Bremia lactucae, and the prevention of marginal leaf burn.
The plant forms a large rosette and head. The leaves have an incised shape and medium-low glossiness of the upper side. The variety is characterized by a medium maturity period, high uniformity, and suitability for cultivation in both open field and protected cultivation.
It possesses broad resistance to races of downy mildew NL:1–16, Bl:18–28, as well as to lettuce aphid biotype Nr:0 and downy mildew. Due to its structure, the variety is particularly in demand for the production of salad mixes.
