Variety description

The plant has shiny, slightly blistered leaves with a crunchy texture and succulent ribs. The variety is suitable for cultivation both for baby leaves and until full heads 35–40 cm in diameter are formed.
The variety belongs to the European Batavian type. There are mentions of it as a red head lettuce, the commercial use of which was restored by breeder Frank Morton.
