The variety belongs to the head lettuce type (Laitue pommée) and is intended for mid-season cultivation. The plant forms compact heads with smooth green leaves, characterized by a good weight-to-volume ratio and a high degree of whiteness inside the head. An important commercial quality is the appearance of the lower part of the plant.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races 29–39EU) and lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race 0). It also has intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1). The variety is intended for professional use in open field conditions.
