The variety belongs to the Iceberg type and is characterized by a mid-early maturity period of about 65–70 days. The plant forms large, heavy, and uniform heads with bright green dense leaves that have self-folding capabilities.
The variety is intended for open field cultivation during spring and autumn periods. The produce is suitable both for fresh market sale and for industrial processing into ready-to-eat salad mixes.
The plant tolerates cool weather and stressful growing conditions well. It possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 16–37EU) and lettuce aphid (type Nr: 0).
