The variety belongs to the Little Gem type and Romaine segment. It is intended for use in fresh produce markets and for processing, and is grown under open field conditions.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew races 16–30, 32, 34, 36, 37EU and to lettuce aphid race 0. It also shows intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus and Fusarium wilt race 4.
