The variety belongs to the Cos type (Romaine lettuce) and is characterized by vigorous growth and light-colored leaves. In agronomic documents of previous years, the name Flavius was mentioned as a synonym for the variety Bosco.
The plant has resistance to lettuce downy mildew (races Bl:1-28EU) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0). In various sources, the name Flavius may refer to other crops, for example, to cucumbers.
