The variety belongs to the Batavia type and is known by the synonym Laibacher Eis 3. The plant forms a voluminous head with light green leaves that are serrated at the edges and often have a reddish hue along the margin. The variety's seeds are white.
The vegetation cycle is about 75 days. The variety possesses resistance to bolting. It is intended for summer-autumn cultivation, for which sowing is recommended from April to July, and harvesting from June to October using a planting scheme of 25–30 cm between plants.
