The Batavia-type plant forms a compact and open head with an orderly arrangement of leaves. The leaf blade is distinguished by flexibility, which simplifies harvesting and packaging processes. The variety is intended for cultivation in open field during early spring, autumn, and winter periods.
The variety possesses high marketability and forms dense, heavy heads suitable for transportation. The produce is intended for sale on the fresh market and for processing.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races 16–28, 30–32), Fusarium wilt (race 1), and currant-lettuce aphid (biotype 0), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus. High tolerance to tip burn is noted.
