FRILL ICE
ActiveLactuca sativa L. · Lettuce
SVS Holland B.V.
10 August 2026
The variety is early and forms a large, dense head. Leaves have a light green or yellow-green shade, an entire margin, and a slightly blistered surface. Under unfavorable growing conditions and moisture deficit, the variety is prone to early bolting and the development of bitterness.
The plant is intended for cultivation in unheated plastic greenhouses and early planting in open field using the transplant method. Sowing of seeds is carried out in December–January, the recommended planting density is 20–25 by 20 cm. The crop requires regular soil moisture; however, in the active head-forming phase, excessive watering is not recommended.
