The variety belongs to the Eazyleaf type, which implies a specific plant morphology: uniform leaf shape and size. With a single cut, the rosette breaks down into many individual ready-to-eat leaves, which facilitates the processing and harvesting process.
The plant possesses high resistance to lettuce downy mildew Bremia lactucae. Resistance is claimed for races Bl:29–36, 38–40EU, as well as races up to Bl:41EU and the corresponding American races Bl:1–9US.
