The Ice Palace variety, also known by the code designation LS 15523, forms high-quality and large-caliber heads. The plant is characterized by a prominent basal part, good head closure, and the absence of ribbing on the bright green, wavy-edged leaves.

The plant possesses a high degree of resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 16–29, 32, 34, 36, 39, 40EU), lettuce aphid, Fusarium wilt, and tomato bushy stunt virus. The variety is resistant to tip burn and premature bolting.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption and industrial processing. It is universal in terms of production conditions, adapted to various soil types, suitable for cultivation in the open field, greenhouses, and under plastic tunnels, and is recommended for spring and autumn planting cycles.
